Basin Municipal Court is held each Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (except on holidays) at the Big Horn County Courthouse, 420 W C Street. The Basin Municipal Circuit Courtroom is located in the basement of the Courthouse.

ArraignmentsIf you are issued a citation that has the "Must appear" box checked in the lower left-hand corner of the citation, then you must appear in Municipal Court on the date listed on the citation. If the "May forfeit bond in lieu of appearance" box is checked, you may pay the bond amount shown on the citation before the date listed in lieu of appearing in Court. If you choose to enter a plea, you must appear in Court on the date listed on the citation or call the Town of Basin Attorney at 307-347-6324.

Insurance CitationsDo you have an Insurance Citation?
If you are issued a citation for no proof of liability insurance, and insurance coverage was valid at the time the citation was issued, verification of coverage may be presented at Basin Town Office any time prior to your court date. You must provide a copy of your current insurance card with contact information and telephone number for your insurance company. |
